On June 11, my sister in law gave birth to my beautiful niece Ella. I felt so lucky to have been in town for her birth. They had not found out if they were having a boy or a girl ahead of time, and so there was that iconic moment after Ella was born when my brother in law came smiling into the waiting room and announced “It’s a girl!” to the cheers of the family. It was a tremendously exciting night!
This little darling was born weighing 9 lbs 12 oz. Look at those deliciously chubby cheeks!! My heart melts!
